Terry DeSelms founded The DeSelms Team in Nashville in 1989 and his daughter Tara DeSelms started with the company in 2004. In 2015, the company name was officially changed to The DeSelms Team.
Today, we are a real estate company with a full staff of real estate professionals who possess the expertise, education and personal attention needed for each home purchase and sale. Headquartered in Franklin, TN, we serve clients throughout the entire Middle Tennessee area. We have remained a debt-free, stable company, while growing to become a dominant force in the local real estate market.
Our growing company was founded on faith, determination, honesty, creative thinking and innovative marketing tools, and those principles have helped us to succeed and grow as a family. The DeSelms Team now includes residential, commercial, luxury, and property management. Jim Youngblood
Principle Broker + Property Manager
Jim was born and raised in White House, Tennessee. Jim has spent the last five years as a flight crew member for LifeFlight prior to coming to The DeSelms Team.
Having a servant’s heart, Jim has loved his successful career in medicine; however, as a child he was raised around new home construction and real estate. This background has given him another natural avenue in which to serve you. In many ways, being a critical care nurse and paramedic has prepared him for a career in real estate because he has a very clear appreciation for stressful situations and an understanding of making important decisions under deadlines.

Teka Escaravage
Accounting Manager
Raised in Florida, by way of New Mexico, Teka grew up as the daughter of a dedicated Air Force service member, which meant moving all over the country and experiencing a variety of communities. Her journey eventually brought her to Prattville, Alabama, where she began her career in real estate accounting. After several years working in real estate, she relocated back to Florida and transitioned into the small business industry, resuming her passion for accounting.
In 2022, she had the pleasure of meeting the DeSelms team and was honored to join as their Accounting Manager. Her commitment to service and helping others is at the heart of everything she does.
Beyond her professional life, she is a proud mom of seven and a “Gigi” to six wonderful grandchildren. She loves spending her free time on the golf course with her husband, who is also an accountant, at the beach, or cheering on her favorite baseball team. She is always happy to help and serve, bringing both experience and enthusiasm to every endeavor.

Juliet Rivera
Client Success Manager
Juliet Rivera is the Client Success Manager, where she has been supporting property owners and residents for the past two years. Juliet focuses on building strong relationships and ensuring that clients have a positive experience throughout their time with the company. She is dedicated to understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions to ensure satisfaction.
Outside of work, Juliet enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, baking, and relaxing with her pets. She also loves working on creative projects in her free time.

Ari Wulfric
Resident Service Manager
Born and raised in the heart of Alabama, Ari was introduced to the world of property management through her family’s small real estate business. With a strong passion for technology, she pursued a degree in IT Networking and Security at the University of Southern Mississippi. While in college, Ari joined the Army ROTC program, which led to her enlistment six months later. After an Honorable Discharge, she returned to Alabama before eventually relocating to Florida to be closer to family. Now happily married to her wife, Ally, Ari takes care of 9 pets, 4 different types of succulents, and pursues bowling in her spare time.
Working remotely as the Resident Service Manager at DeSelms Property Management, Ari supports residents from their initial inquiry to the end of their lease. Drawing from her diverse background in technology, military service, and real estate, Ari brings a unique blend of discipline, technical insight, and heartfelt commitment to her role. She strives to ensure every resident feels heard, supported, and valued throughout their housing journey, where the ultimate goal is to create not just a place to live, but a place to belong.
